Dave cook started his first set with " My Kind of Town " and was an immediate hit with the audience. He followed with Night and Day, Street of Dreams and All or Nothing at All and with his left arm pumping away in time with the music, looked like a man who was having the best time of his life. Whether he had any butterflies underneath I don't know, but he looked so confident and clearly loved the backing he was getting from the band. It has to be said that he drew the biggest cheers of the night. Ok Sinatra was the template, he sang these songs better than anyone, but Dave Cook showed he has excellent timing and phrasing and did himself no harm at all on his big night. . . . . . . .

Dave Cook came back with " The Lady is a Tramp" a knockout" One For My Baby" with glass in hand and accompanied by the excellent James Pearson on piano. Fly Me To The Moon followed and a rousing version of New York New York which got most of the audience waving their arms from side to side.

All should feel proud of their hard work. Congratulations all around.

 Dear Dave. What a star you are !!! Thank you so much for playing such a big part in helping to make Oliver's Barmitzvah so amazing. Dear Dave what can we say. Our daughters wedding at The Four Seasons Hyde Park Lane 22/11/06 was a memorable event for us. You stole the show. Comments ranged from " why have you got a Sinatra album on " to " I can't believe this guy, he must work in Vegas " Your performance was so exceptional that the Toastmaster had to beg people to sit down so that they could serve food. Magnificent! You helped to make it the best day of our lives. You were part of something that will never go away..thank you.
